DROPLET JUG, EPAL’S LATEST EXCLUSIVE JUG FOR SERVING TAP WATER

  

The droplet jug is the result of EPAL and Bordallo Pinheiro’s partnership that has brought these two emblematic and centuries-old companies together on Portuguese tables for over a century. With the motto “If you want water, drink it”, inspired by Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro, author of the popular representation of Zé Povinho, who became a symbol of the Portuguese people.


 

A droplet-shaped jug with water reliefs on its surface which, in addition to suggesting shapes of water droplets, is also inspired by works by Bordallo Pinheiro in the colours and reliefs that characterise its brand identity.


With a handle that makes us think of a water droplet, this exclusive piece of crockery reminds us of the earthenware jugs used in old bedroom sinks, especially the spout that has a more organic and curvier silhouette.








After the success of the Original Droplet Jug (green), now seven new colours are here to welcome the best water.

When the sun shines on water droplets suspended in the air, we see a phenomenon we all know as a rainbow. Although they are not the real colours, and there are eight colours not seven, the new Droplet Jugs personalise this meeting between water and sun.
