The distribution system spans over 1,400 Km, covering an area of approximately 83 Km² and a resident population of more than 500,000 inhabitants.

The distribution system’s management is supported by a series of infrastructure and bodies, namely 13 reservoirs, 11 pumping stations, 60 electrical pump groups, 6 chlorination posts and about 100,000 branches connecting the system to buildings.
